The term “chronometer” denotes an especially accurate watch, such as those that were necessary in the past for determining the time needed for sea and air navigation. Today, just as in the past, official independent institutes test the exacting level of rate precision of these timepieces utilizing standardized measuring procedures.

Only with certification from an authorized institute is a timepiece allowed to be called
a chronometer. It goes without saying that at Glashütte Original all manually wound calibers are tested according to these strict criteria: the Senator Chronometer is
the first timepiece with official confirmation in the form of a certificate.

A new era for the legendary Golden Bridge

The mechanical Golden Bridge movement made a strong impact right from the time of its first presentation in 1980. Over 30 years ago, this exceptional baguette movement with its innovative construction wrote a new chapter in the history of watchmaking. Introduced in 2011 for the very first time is an automatic version – with linear winding – it heralds a new era in the legend of this unique movement. This world première of the automatic variation is presented in a red or white gold case and will be produced in limited quantities.

TI Bridge

TI Bridge from Corum! For all of you who like the Golden Bridge but want a sportier look. Like the Golden Bridge, the movement on this new timepiece is also packed in a linear bridge but in a horizontal manner instead of vertical found in the Golden Bridge watch. This movement is housed in a grade 5 titanium rectangula...r case with a skeleton dial which allows the wearer to see the amazing movement. This bridge is also supported by 4 V-shaped bridges for stability and to match the architectural theme. The time on this watch is adjustable through the titanium crown on the right hand side of the case.

King Power Alinghi

Hublot has launched the “King Power Alinghi”, a limited edition watch that commemorates and carries the colours of the Swiss Defender of the 33rd America’s Cup. Hublot has always had close links with the world of yachting – through its name, which means ‘porthole’ in French. The case: “King Power”, is 48 mm in microbla...sted black ceramic. The dial is sapphire with anti-reflective treatment, multilayered, additional matt black counters, index with black nickel, black SuperLuminova™, Alinghi logo at 9 o'clock. The movement is Hublots first in house movement it is a mechanical skeleton chronograph with automatic winding, carbon bridges, calibre Hublot HUB4400.
